Just thin paper

A Thai man uses an average of 60 kilograms of paper a year, or a total of over 3.9 million tons a year. We cut 17 trees to produce 1 ton of paper. To serve the demand in Thailand, we have to cut more than 55 million trees annually.

To produce 1 ton of paper, we have to use 31,500 liters of water and 4,100 kilowatts of electricity, which will emit 2,911 kilograms of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Therefore, it is worth to use 2 sides of paper and we can save at least 1,300,000 trees per year.
